Welcome!

Well this is Acerbic.org, my own private playground on the web. I use Acerbic.org as an outlet. An outlet for my creativity, for my frustrations, my anger, my happieness, my boredom, my humor, my wit, my politics, my life. As such the content here is wierd and varied, and always changing. What you'll find here is everything about myself I choose to make public, and everything I wish to share. I won't ever remove anything from this site, once I've made something public it will stay that way, no matter how embarassing, or offensive, or annoying or just plain dumb. If you have a problem with anything you find here, tough shit. You can write me to bitch if you like, but don't count on it having any affect, other than for me to post your message, and email address for the world to see.

Here's what you'll find here:
The Mighty Weblog - Now the crown jewel in the Acerbic web sites. Nearly daily entries about everythig I do. If I don't personally do anything interesting enough to write about I try and drop in essay's or random bits of humor. Also laced with pictures of Alaska and any places I visit.

Code Red Worm - Here is a log of all the times this webserver has been attacked by IIS machines with the code red worm. Since I run Apache the only affect this has on me is to clog up my logfiles with crap.

Pointless Page - The Pointless Page. This is my original homepage, it has been around since 1996,my senior year in highschool. Be warned it's only mostly functional since I moved it over to acerbic.org, not all of the directory structure is the same here as it was on my old ISP, so some stuff is just plain broken. Some stuff works, but sometimes crashes browsers. I really need to spend a weekend getting the paged clean and sober so it can once again go out in polite society. But I'm never going to.

Fake Purchase Database - Outgrowth of another old work project. This was the first large PHP/MySQL project I ever worked on. During the testing phase a lot of humorous orders were placed so I preserved them here. It's still "live" so feel free to make your own additions! .

True Love On the Internet - This is actually what I like to call Yahoo! Personals Abuse Project It all started with a friend of mine posting a gag personal ad, and the chaos that ensued when I decided to have some fun with him...

My Friends - pictures and descriptions of some of my friends. If the constant referencing to people you don't know has gotten you all confused then this is place to go. Though likely the only people who will visit this part of the website will be the ones featured on the page, so that they can bitch about the picture of them I used. ;->

eBrothel - A cgi powered brothel, that's right a brothel. Currently you can order your choice of whisky and can pick from a wide selection of whores, which will be delivered to your door, just fill out the forms and give me your credit card number. This was one of my first Perl programs, and was the prototype for a legitmate site I did when working at the UAA Library.

DefCon 8 Roadtrip - Not a very good page. This was my attempt at keeping a journal of our roadtrip to DefCon 8 last year. There is far more content in there about the actual road trip than there is about DefCon. In fact there are no actual DefCon journal entries, I was so drunk most of the time there I didn't do any writing. This experiance was the inspiration for creating a proper weblog.
